There's nothing wrong with judging people because of their behaviour.
It's how you judge people.

Having a fixed judgement on somebody that never changes despite other displayed behaviour is "not cool man".

I will never understand the obsession with this either. It's one thing watching a kids tv programme but you get these sad losers who dress up and go to conventions and everything, it's really sad.

For once I agree with Jeremy Clarkson:

He still could have put it into different words. Calling something crap (I'm toning down the language obviously) could be put into nicer words. Opinions aren't wrong, but I frown upon strong judgement without enough justification. If he's going off of one video, he could probably bare to use different vocabulary to voice his opinion instead of going off on MLP. I've tried watching the show, and it's not for me, that doesn't mean I have to hate it and detest it in public.

I haven't watched it, as it's clearly a show designed for little girls.
It's unsettling that adult males watch the show, and gatherings of these people worries me.
That's my thought process on why Bronies are pig-disgusting at least.

I agree, it shouldn't be watched by adults the way it is. I tried it because I'm trying to do as much stuff as I can now that I'm in college and open up to new experiences, no matter how insignificant. This one just wasn't for me. In fact it scared me a little.

Oh please, like the Nintendo fandom is any better. I'm sure there's A LOT of similar videos portraying Mario brutally killing anyone in his path for absolutely no discernible reason, why did Feld0 abandon the Feldian forums for this horse scat?

Or how about the massive amounts of Mario and Pokemon pornography circulating the web? both of those are videogames designed for children, I'd like to add. Why did Feld0 even bother to make a Nintendo forum when the fandom is this messed up?

I will never understand the Nintendo fandom! Frankly, I think they're disgusting and should be shot for being a bunch of losers who disguise themselves and go to conventions.

So consuming anything outside your demographic makes you disgusting.

Better quit the Mario Nollog. It's a series designed for children, it might just make you pig-disgusting.

Hey doll.

Oh please, like the Nintendo fandom is any better.

Better or not, it's different.

I'm sure there's A LOT of similar videos portraying Mario brutally killing anyone in his path for absolutely no discernible reason, why did Feld0 abandon the Feldian forums for this horse scat?

Of course there is, why wouldn't there be?

Or how about the massive amounts of Mario and Pokemon pornography circulating the web?

Yeah, people have some interesting tastes.

both of those are videogames designed for children, I'd like to add.

Are they?
Certainly, the original games of those two series were designed for young teenagers.

Why did Feld0 even bother to make a Nintendo forum when the fandom is this messed up?

Who knows? He probably thought he could make some cash money to go buy some pony dolls.

I will never understand the Nintendo fandom!

That is a shame.

Frankly, I think they're disgusting and should be shot for being a bunch of losers who disguise themselves and go to conventions.

I agree. Gamers, and in particular, Nintendo-gamers should all be shot and should be kept from speaking with each other.
If we allow them to converse about how the next mario game will be fun, it could end up in the next mario game being fun.

So consuming anything outside your demographic makes you disgusting.

Not necessarily. It depends on your motivation, and how you act about it.

Better quit the Mario Nollog.

I don't want to.

It's a series designed for children, it might just make you pig-disgusting.

It was originally designed for young teenagers, no doubt.
But it also is enjoyable to me for it's level of challenge and fun.

I might be over-thinking this post, but it appears to me that you might be trying to prove a point, and using Mario, a game designed for young teenage boys, is comparable to a cartoon called "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", which is designed for young girls aged 6-11.
This seems like a very crude analogy, as society views children, particularly girls aged 6-11 to be much more at risk of men aged 25-40.

I haven't watched it, as it's clearly a show designed for little girls.
It's unsettling that adult males watch the show...

I no longer care to defend 'Bronies', but it still does bother me to see things like this...

Yes, the fandom has certainly gone crazy, but do realize that originally the idea of it was merely "Hey guys, there's this cartoon that is worth trying. It's My Little Pony. I know, it's a franchise aimed for little girls. But this iteration is actually entertaining, and like the cartoons we used to watch as children!".

And you know what? I thought it was neat that a group of guys (and a fair bit of them are actually in their teens) were secure enough in themselves to try out something that is clearly for girls, because the idea that guys can't like/do/be anything feminine is very harmful to society (both women and men), the way I see it.

Sadly that bubble was popped pretty fast for me as I saw 'Bronies' begin to proclaim the show was 'manly', and complain about supposed "misandry" in the show. And of course the violent and sexual stuff is very disturbing. I've come to expect it from any fandom, but the Brony fandom actually embraces it and calls out anybody disturbed by the sexual stuff as being 'intolerant', and comparing their aversion to it to homophobia. As if somebody wanting to get married to a pony toy is the same as wanting to get married to a consenting adult of the same-sex. >.>

But please don't knock all teenage/adult fans of the show. Some of them really are just casual fans who enjoy the show because it reminds them of the cartoons they watched as a kid. They mean nothing more from it than I mean by still playing Pokemon games at the age of 25.

Yeah it's not the fact that grown men watch it, it's the way they watch it and treat the show. It's horsing creepy.

There's a difference between Nintendo fans at conventions and MLP fans at conventions:

Well, seems like here's a good time to state my thoughts on bronies. I actually watched a few episodes to see what the hype was about, and I thought it was a pretty good show, not something I'd write home about, but something clever and well made. I get why people like it so much, but it's not my cup of tea. Now, the insane bronies on the other hand who think the show was made for them and bash anything about it made for little girls are a different story. These psychos are the ones who get hostile whenever people don't proclaim my little pony is the best thing ever and sour the show for everyone else, especially the bronies who are great people that get lumped together with them. Worse, they're extremely vocal. Overall I'd recommend the show to kids and maybe even some older, but I'd definitely tell them to steer clear of the crazy ones, they always ruin the fun for everyone else *cough* sonic the hedgehog cough*.

lol that megaman pic made my day.

Although at least the megaman doesn't look as creepy as the pony guy, he just looks like a pathetic moron. And honestly I did search "creepy nintendo cosplay" and it didn't come up with anything substantial.

Also, I like MLP and I find stuff like that video disgusting. Does that help?
