Hey guys I am new and if you are on this site you are also probuly a nintendo fan! I have been with nintendo forever! I have had every nintendo counsle other than the game and watch and those family systems. I am still to get a 3ds and I can't wait untill I get one but now I think I may pass and save for a Wii U. Though I am a little disapointed that there are no confirmed first party titles other than a new Smash Bros. So what first party title do you want more than any other? Also what do you think about Microsoft and Sonys lack of originality? Nintendo is like the only first party developer with any original thoughts. So how much do you want to bet that sony's new counsle will be the play station U?

Welcome to the forum!

The two go-to people for technical problems are AMAC (Moderator) and Feld0 (Admin and owner of this forum). They're both great people and I'm glad they're in charge! I'm also in charge of this section of the forum, but not over-all like they are.

Have a look at the rules and Newcomer's guide.
Rule 11 might be good for you to look out. Not that you're breaking it or anything, but just keep it in mind. It's better to know the rules before posting, so you don't get into trouble. (Nobody likes trouble... trust me)

If you need me to clarify any part of the rules for you, I'd be glad to do that.
If you need any non-technical help you can ask me or any of the guides.
I watch over Guides and what they do... hence the "Lead Guide"


I doubt Sony's next console will be the Playstation U, but they really were not really imaginative with the Playstation Move. The Kinect is a somewhat different story though.

As everyone, I'd love a tLoZ, Mario and Kirby game. I'm sure there'll be a tLoZ game along the first year of the Wii U, and surely the same with Mario, as he's Nintendo's flagship title.

Well, the other 2 major companies do lack some originality, they still have lots of nice games. Some of which I'm even a little jealous and would love to play. If I had enough money, I'd buy a Xbox 360 and PS3.

As you see, I'm not really a hater or fan-boy (slightly favor Nintendo tough)


Don't be afraid to post lots, make new threads and to go visit the chat box. (After you've made 5 posts outside of this section and the Forum games/Roleplay section)


One last thing;
Look at the date of the first and last post in an introduction thread. If the op (opening post) is older than 2 weeks, don't bother posting, and if the last post is older than 2 weeks, don't post unless you have something good to add to the discussion, but that's not usually the case with Introduction posts


Don't worry, the management here isn't strict, but we still like to keep discussion nice, going and troll-free.

Little info about myself: I'm a Blender and Pencil user. My favorite genre of games are JRPG's with my favorite game being Tales of Symphonia.
I'm also a piano player. Just a begginer, though.
What is your favorite game? Also, what kind of games do you like?

You like Nintendo? Big surprise there, lol. I only own the DS for now, but I'm planning on buying the Wii to play Skyward Sword and pretty much every Nintendo title.

First party titles don't even need to be confirmed, they're always going to come. Zelda has also been confirmed, btw.
First party title I want? Hmm... I think a tie between Metroid and Zelda.

I give kudos to Microsoft for not blatantly ripping-off Nintendo with their choice of motion controls, Sony on the other hand...

I bet 6 internets in the fact that it's NOT going to be called that.

Welcome to the forums. I'm Andy, one of the forums major Zelda fanboys(Link and Lord N being the others), and one of the guides here. Some of the genres I'm into are action/adventure, platformer, 3D platformer, puzzle, RPG, fighting, racing, and the occasional sports game. Ok I my self have quite a few favorite video games and all of wich are LoZ games. I just can't decide which one is better Oot or wind waker. Also I meant the PSU as a joke. But now with everyone copy catting all over the place I doesn't seem too far off to me. Even the Kinect was a version of a Sony add on the the PS or PS2 called the play staion eye I think. So far the only counsles that I own currently are a wii, PS2 (I think I stoped playing on this thing 6 years ago), and lastly a DSi. I used to also like Sony stuff and was about to buy a PS3 untill I noticed that there wasn't as much potential in it as a wii had because all the PS3 was is HD graphics and the ability to play Blue Ray and better online capabilities. So I wasn't always the biggest Nintendo fan. I wanted a gaming company that always had something new up their sleeve and Nintendo was the answer.

hey n10 i know you! lol chat. well anyway yeah they announced pikmin three which im excited about. ( will probably be launch title) i also know they are already having ideas for mario on the wii u and i think it will come out less than a year after launch. Zelda i probably already in development since skyward sword is done. What i think about microsoft and sony is that they are in deep trouble! i respect both developers but honestly what are they going to do innovative for next gen without making a $2000 dollar console with 2060p graphics or GOOD motion control with great games? Both companys kindof feed off their third partys. I dont think they have anything just yet so i'm a little concerned about them. I am really am hoping for an online based fzero game with some new characters too
