Do you think its possible to hold a secret santa event in the forum this year?

I think I would let Feld set it all up, since he has done it before. What you do is sign up, saying how many gifts you can give. It can be pretty much anything as long as its creative. Signatures, art, music, writing, poem, pictures, ect.

How many of you would be willing to participate?

I would be willing to participate, but my gift would probably blow away who I am. I have a pretty tell tale drawing style, and my other hobby is fairly unusual for this site, lol.

The only thing bugging me would be if people gave signatures. If they required actual effort, it would work, but just photoshopped images shouldn't count.

In the ones I have participated, no one is supposed to know who sent you the gift, so that's why I said that.

Actually, I've never hosted a Secret Santa before. The Cross-Community Secret Santa that was held between three Yoshi forums last year wasn't run by me. But I don't think it's anything overly difficult.

The only potential issue I see with such an event is that TheWiiU.com is a community of gamers, not artists. We do have a number of creative people here, but they don't form a significant portion of the active userbase, as far as I can tell. But I'd still love to see a Secret Santa happen regardless, even if we don't get all 900+ members taking part in it. Stay tuned.

The way it will probably go is that the event will need a starting date and a rough deadline. For that deadline, we could either make a single topic where we present our gifts or multiple topics. If you need any help putting this together, I suppose that I could help.

Oh yes, and in the secret santa events I have been in, you have to guess who sent you the gift.
