Hey, I was talking about secret santa WEEKS ago, but it's nice to see someone bring it back up again. I really do want a secret santa for this forum! If you can do ANY form of creativity such as writing, composing, drawing, animating, programming, etc...then you can definitely participate.

I'd like to propose an idea and need your feedback: Instead of randomly getting a user, users get to actually pick who they want to make a gift for. Once you decide, you can pm me and ill update the sign up sheet saying that the user already has a secret santa.

I think random Santees will work best. Less complicated, and we won't get anyone complaining "but I wanted to be that guy's Santa!"

By the way, when users sign up, should they be asked to give a hint or idea for what their Santa should make for them?

Well, I think they should just keep it a secret because that is what makes this event fun the surprise of getting your gift. I think that if users are having a hard time finding a gift you or me could guide the user to an idea to make for a gift.
