Ubisoft could win us over though if they make a Red Steel 3.
I'll be alright with that.
Oh god, gimmie. I loved Red Steel 2, and would happily buy a 3rd.
On topic: Honestly, I'm not into Watch_Dogs. It seems like it's just trying to be a grittier rip-off of Person of Interest, which I enjoy a heck of a lot more.
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

Isn't that the exact same thing? It's like Sony getting you hyped for PS3 by saying Agent and Last Guardian are games, when in fact they are not.Or saying there will be games on the PS4 when they're closing 94% of their studios over the next 3 years.
No. It's not. Blaming someone for expecting a a game to be what was promised to be is like blaming the victim instead of the perp.
Ubi is to blame. Not someone who took them at their word.
When you break a promise, you're the messed up person. Not the person you made the promise to.

Ubisoft showed her these cute screens it couldn't possibly deliver, so she expected a good game.
Ubisoft lied, and they've lied hundreds of times before. Just like Sony.
Yet people still take them at their word without doing any research.

I like how when a Wii U exclusive can't be released earlier due to other versions of the games coming sooner, but when they delay a Wii U version of a game after other versions, it's just peachy.

I was thinking that but it reads funny. I forget, when Rayman Legends was released... were all version released at the same time?
As an added note, at least Activision can find port teams to get Wii U games out on time along side other console versions. Ubi just doesn't have their act together.

A lot of valid points in this thread.m I personally plan on buying watchdogs UNLESS it is a pile of crap on Wii U. At this point you have to be happy with ports that can run consistent with 360 efforts. I do personally think that publishers have been missing out. There were a lot of Wii era games (red steel) that needs sequels. I would love a redsteel 3. At this point I doubt it happens but it sucks for those people that loved some of the exclusives we got on Wii.

It's hard to understand Ubi when they say one thing and do another.
Watch Dogs for Wii U delayed because they want to give us the best experience with the gamepad.. ? Is that what they are saying?
Splinter Cell Blacklist was released along with the other versions and that game had nice features and mechanics with the gamepad. I assume different devs / team are working on Watch Dogs but it doesn't jive well with me.
I am getting it nonetheless for Wii U but at least have some consistency and solid reasoning Ubi.

I think their delaying it so that they can give us beautiful graphics and good frame rate, or maybe as you said their trying to improve gamepad functionality. I even think their trying to involve the gamepad in the hacking process .
I guess we can only judge when we play the game.
but still guys its just 60$, so please buy it on Wii U.

Glad you agree ubisoft is at fault for lying. That's where the burden of proof rests.
Not with the consumer who is "supposed to take ubisoft to trial" and discover fact vs. fiction.
Ubisoft lied. That's the problem.
Anyone who believed them was doing what people should be able to do - take their word for it.
But ubi cries wolf too many times and.. Bye bye ubi.

"Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice...."
Hence Nollog's point. We've been fooled already with Rayman Legends, no DLC for AC IV, lumped in with PS360 for the next AC, etc.
