They are still partners because they keep relations with each other as console manufacturer and games-publisher. Obviously they did care, otherwise they wouldn't have deleated the tweets and they wouldn't have apologized.
yeah like I said before and like BASEDGOD just said, it's just to avoid more backlash than they already get. If only a couple nintendo fans had been offended, they probably would still be up.
