Lord N actually has a point...

I don't mean to come off as rude (sorry if I am) but you didn't have to specifically come into this topic/thread right here, just to say that it is for Pedos/"not-sure-if-straight" men/or only a certain category of people.


If you want to actually put down other people's opinion, at least try to watch 1 episode or get some legit facts...

I mean that you can't judge a show/game/anything just by little snippets of info from it. i.e. You can't judge a book by it's cover... a.k.a. You can't judge a game by it's cover...

Anyone can show me an example of how MLP harms its followers? Anyone can prove that watching it can destroy your life in any way?

Those who bash MLP:FiM only do it because of its fanbase's reputation, which in turn is screwed up only from its most flamboyant (namely perverted or otherwise disturbed) members. But their claims are dumbfounded, seeing such individuals -forming what is called the "fandumb"- will always exist for every single franchise/series out there.

Just wanted to get that off my system. Hopefully that'll reveal any possible haters so I can ignore them.

Seriously, you're stepping on a dangerous field with that post, you're already breaking a rule.

Always be respectful of others and their opinions. No personal attacks, hateful/racist comments, flame wars, etc. It won't be tolerated. Emotional debates are fine, but hating someone just because they think the PSP is better than the DS is simply irrational.

I really shouldn't need to remind you of it.

And just to be clear, I don't like the show either, so my post is not biased in any way.

i must say that I am a fan of the show, and have only watched it a few times, but those times, I liked the show.

I watch My Little Pony, Strawberry Shortcake, Dora the Explorer, Spongebob Squarepaints, The Backyardigans, Sessame Street, and Yo Gabba Gabba with my 2 year-old daughter. After a while, you start following the stories and it gets interesting. MLP is much more interesting for me to watch than many of the other shows on this list. I used to watch Jem and the Holograms with my sister when we were growing up. Now that it is back on the air, I made sure to see it all the way through from beggining to end because I remember the stories from when I was growing up. I never forgot how to get through a maze by following one side all the way around; I learned that from watching Jem and the Holograms, and I want my daughter to learn from what she watches as well. I still can't hardly stand watching Spongebob, though. It's cute when she says I want to watch Strawberry, but I usually cringe when she asks for Spongbob. I apreciate when the makers of these shows keep in mind that parents may be watching the show too along with their children. I sometimes try to play Mario Galaxy while she watches, but she'll try to take my controller, even if she has her own. So, we eventually end up just watching whatever she wants.
