They can't get over the fact that the new CoD has sh!t graphics and the fact that they're copying titanfall?

X was revealed with Mechs in the trailer in the January Direct of 2013. Titanfall was revealed at E3 2013... Yep the game revealed first is copying the game that was still unannounced. Nevermind the fact that X has completely different gameplay and combat in an open world experience instead of the shooter with competitive online play experience of Titanfall.

About the menu though, I don't like it the giant white stripe that mario is drifting on  just makes it seem bland and unfinished imo

Because it's made by former Cod devs and had millions of $ of hype behind it and most people take anything that is fed to them. Suckers. That much money then something becomes too big to fail. Dude bros all the rage and then they rage on one another online.

Very nice. There's something to be said about simplicity in background (Wii, 7... everything before it basically), but it was getting a bit old.

 

Wonder if the background character will change?

First of all, I wasn't talking...

Second of all, how do you know it's great if you haven't even played it yet?

How do you know it's overhyped if YOU haven't played it yet

Then why is it so popular atm?

A few reasons.

1) pent up demand for a a next gen game in the early going of new consoles life cycle.

2) massive marketing campaign.

3) it's actuslly a pretty dang good game.

My only complaint us that it shipped without a proper single player campaign.

To me that's a huge missing piece. Multi-only is pretty much s cop out.

Even so, I'm still playing the game. If Nintendo had the desire to build a game like this, I imagine it would be pretty close, but a little more polished and you'd have in game power acquisition instead of lame burn cards.
