I always enjoyed playing him in brawl so I'll give him a go. He'll replace ganondorf as my powerhouse character most likely

I am completely surprised he's back. I still think we will see Chrom, but this pretty much ruins the chances for Lucina.

Lucina could easily be a marth costume option.
What this REALLY destroys the chances of however, is Hector, the ike before ike

Yeah I don't think it's unreasonable to assume we'll get a third Fire Emblem character considering how (unexpectedly) well it did on the 3DS

Sweet. Ike was my favorite character from brawl, and it figures they would go with the Radiant Dawn design. Hoping he works better this time around. I really wouldn't be surprised if Lucina is an alt costume for Marth. Ike's old moveset would make more sense for a character like Hector rather than Ike. Heck, they should make Hector an alt costume if they keep a similar moveset from brawl. Would be nice if they would put in some characters who weren't sword wielders or hand-to-hand combatants.

Hoping he works better this time around.
Ike actually wasn't all that bad in brawl. He was no Marth, but he was at least playable.

I really wasn't expecting this, I'm sure we'll see another Fire Emblem character. Probably Chrom or Robin. Lucina will be a Marth costume, no doubt, I never saw her as an actual character.

It's the Ike from Radiant Dawn. He is in his 30's here I think.
Radiant Dawn took place 3 years after Path of Radiance, and while I don't believe his age in PoR is ever stated, I believe he can't be older than a teenager in that game.

It amused me that people thought Ike would not come back just because Roy was cut in Brawl when the two are not that comparable. Aside from that, I don't see how Chrom's chances are ruined especially when Awakening help kept the series alive. Plus there's that Gematsu leak.

Glad he is still brawling, was my favorite in brawl. Though I wish they'd put in a laguz. Lethe or leer would be nice and add another female charector for the lady gamers.
