Never played them... not a big online gamer... mostly the last two COD released on Wii U

Hey everyone. Wyrda mentioned in another topic about having a Wii U forums Mario Kart tournament. I made this topic to see what kinds of settings/options you guys would want. I've run through the tournament settings and here are the options:

 

Mode: 50cc, 100cc, 150cc, Mirror Race, and Battle

 

Teams: No Teams or Team Game

 

Items: All, Shells Only, Bananas Only, Mushrooms Only, Bob-ombs Only, and No Items

 

Vehicles: All, Karts Only, and Bikes Only

 

Control Methods: All or Tilt Controls Only

 

COM: No COM, Easy COM, Normal COM, or Hard COM

 

Time: Daily, Weekly, Fixed Period
 

Race Count: No Limit and goes all the way to 32 Races.

 

Group Shuffling: Don't Shuffle OR Every 4th Match

 

And then there are just the Public/Private and Global/Regional type thing which would obviously be set for Global and Private.

 

So ladies and gents, what would be your preferences? 

 

100cc or 150cc

No Teams

Frantic Mode or All Items

All Controls

No COM's

Daily (Suitable time for both America and UK/Europe)

No Race Limit

Shuffle Every 4th Match

been like a year sand a half since I play MK7 and I haven't explored tournies yet, but if I remember correctly it's almost like having your own server, where it's a room that anyone with the code can connect to, you can decide what rules are on, etc.

Same here, I waited around a bit and was able to race a few different times with different people. It may help posting a status update on the forums if you plan on going into the lobby, that is what I did and it helped.

We should advertise the code more. Like on the front page or something, so we can maybe at least get some guests to play and get numbers up.
