I don't know, I'm gonna wait and see the actual numbers, I have no idea how much of an increase that is seeing as the Wii U could sell 1000 last week but then 6660 this week since that's also 666%

 

Although "and the second best launch for a Mario Kart title ever in the UK." could give us a good estimate, anyone know where to find the numbers for Mario Kart's launch sales. I tried google but it's all covered with 666%

I will wait for the VG Chartz to tell us, but it could mean over 200, 000 sales worldwide for just a few days work!

2. Nintendo had to sell something to Satan to improve the wii u's prospects.
3. Watch Dogs is the biggest launch game ever in the UK, showing just how foolish that market is, deeply susceptible to hype marketing.
4. mario kart is a system seller, as expected.

Oh, and
5. the headline to any positive nintendo news will be something related to anything else, but negativity is always in the headline.

Mario Kart 8 is currently sold out at my local Walmart, gamestop, and target. The sales are gonna be crazy

I spoke to the owner of a local gamestore and he too confirmed that the Wii U and Mario Kart 8 were selling like freaking hotcakes. It's really  doing that good apparantly.

Pretty interesting since MK7 was a big part of the turn around for 3DS as well iirc.

Hopefully if Nintendo is ever in a situation like this again we'll get mario kart earlier into the system's life.

Nintendo is smart... have MK8 owners spam youtube with MK8 TV clips which in turn is free advertising for Nintendo.
