I was hyped, and then those screenshots shot it down. I'll wait for serious judgment until after we see gameplay tomorrow, but man, that art style. :/ Just not feeling it. Excited for a new IS game regardless.

Yeah, should have shown screens first, THEN described what it was. There is no way ANY game could have lived up to anyones imaginations when they started listing off the comic book artist inspirations.

I think it will very quickly grow on me, as its just bound to be hilariously over the top, and a top notch srpg.

I hope we get characters from all over the world with uber over the top patriotic super moves, country flag and colors flown with fireworks as a steamwork country symbol rains destruction upon the evil alien invaders.

Im getting a hilariously amazing warriors of the world vibe/from this.



Just, with our adorable heros instead of loincloth barbarians, and goofy aliens instead of hellspawn.

I want to see a scotsman who rides a steam punk nessie into battle XD.

This is being shown on Treehouse right now. Holy crap. The cel-shading looks gorgeous and the gameplay is very different from FE and AW. Fantasy Life and Code Name: Steam are easily my most hyped 3DS games.
