omg these are going to look so bad on a big screen at 1080.
I also bet they will charge an arm and a leg for these old games.

Well they figured out DS games on Wiiu so likely means they figured out N64 games

Well, going price on the Wii's N64 VC was $8-10 depending on the title. Like...Paper Mario 64 was $10, but I think WaveRacer was $8 and Sin & Punishment was $9.
Which...isn't awful overall, considering Paper Mario 64 is somewhere around $25-30 for the cartridge and that Sin & Punishment never got a NA release until then.
While I am glad they are coming to the Wii U, one thing I would rather see are N64 3D Classics of games. Paper Mario 64 with the same depth as Sticker Star? Yes, please.
The post above was certified to be simply smashing by the Wii U Forum Staff.

Yeah, it's hard to convince me to repurchase games I already own on the N64. Even when my N64 isn't even hooked up anymore.
It would be neat to own my N64 collection (alongside my NES and SNES collection) on my Wii U, but that's far too pricey for content I already own.
Ironically, it's the GBA and DS where I would actually purchase VC titles. I've lost a few games and I'd love to have them back, while there are others that I missed out on. I got a couple back with the Ambassador's Program. Now I wish they'd get to the DS!

I bought an N64 to Wiimote adapter and am very much looking forward to trying it out.
Especially since I did the Lodgenet stick mod for my main N64 pad.

Yea see u could do a $2-$3 per game. But not $8-$10 when I still have the original game.
Sony did the same thing with the psp and psp go, the the vita.
It turn out to be cheaper to buy an old system and games vs get the digital version.
Even $2-$3 is a bit much for me, since I'm rebuying the games. However, I don't think Nintendo should have to devalue their games just because of that. The VC also caters to individuals who have never gotten to experience these games before, as well.
I just wish there was a way to prove you own these games and then you could get them digitally for a sharply-reduced price. I know that's impossible to begin with, I just wish.

At the 8-10 dollars they'll charge for N64 games...no thanks.

I have the N64 system and I don't feel hooking it up to anything other then a CRT. I hope they upgrade the games for the new powerful system and it looks great. If not I'll just play it on PC and save my money.
