An alien invasion- do you think we could survive?

They could release a bacteria that kills all humans on the planet but no other animals. They could have a weapon to destroy our whole planet. They could take control of humans and make them kill other humans. There's an infinite amount of ways they could kill us, but without info on the aliens, we have no idea if we'll survive or not...

But there is almost no reason to attack the earth. The only thing we have that other planets don't is H2O. The other planets and moons are far more rich in materials and elements.

It really depends. If aliens do attack, they'd have a plan. They may physically attack or just use drones.
But there is almost no reason to attack the earth. The only thing we have that other planets don't is H2O. The other planets and moons are far more rich in materials and elements.
What if they needed something in our body that they needed to make a resource?

What would they possibly need in our bodies? Blood? I doubt it. The human body, like the planet, is composed mostly of water. What if they needed something in our body that they needed to make a resource?
And they would need previous knowledge of human anatomy to know they need human bodies for resources. To know that, it kind of defeats the purpose of a hostile takeover, because they would be able to fully integrate or plant a spy among us.
It wouldn't make too much sense if they captured someone and then needed the resource. They would need a purpose to even be here.
If anything, they may need water. Which can be plentiful in comets.

Again, we'd have to assume that they have an advanced technology. But from their view, they'd see earth as a younger more dangerous world because of the vast distances of space. The trip would also tax them and possibly kill many of them. And due to their planet's destruction, the trip would destroy a part of them. They would, in no way, be prepared for what earth holds. What if there world was destroyed and just happened to find a liking in earth? Im sure they wouldn't want humans everywhere so they would have to exterminate.
Once they arrive, they wouldn't be in a battleship, they would be in a large vessel built for travel and storage, not battle. They could attempt to kill us, but they would need to depend on us to survive.

If I look at our history... noNew topic- Do you think the world will ever be in peace and without war?
We humans were always voilent creatures, and I don't think we will change.
Unless some external force influences us.
We are still beating each other over useless things, and not helping each others.

Humans suffer mental disability, going from insanity to emotion induced actions.
Humans do not simply bow down to others. We fight, and governments and leaders respond unkindly.
Creativity is our power. It is also our scourge.
Humans will never be at peace. We are too different. Ideals, customs, morals, everything. If it wasn't such a problem, we would have been at peace hundreds of years ago.
This is our version of 'instinct'.
