Still seems kind of odd that Sakurai would make a new character who is so similar, but oh well.  He is the director.  I guess he can do whatever he damn well pleases, even if it seems to go against some things he said.  I'd think there would have to be more differences than just blade sweetspot and height, and Sakurai just isn't spilling.  So far he hasn't mentioned a speed/power augment, and I'm still hoping there are more differences than that.

 

How long does brogre have to consume the onions?  Do we need pics.

I've been really excited about this. I'm mostly excited about Robin, but I love Lucina as well. From what I heard, Lucina plays pretty much like Marth except she's faster and her damage is spread evenly instead of having the most damage at the tip of the blade like Marth.  To be honest, I was hoping they would include her in the game even if it was just a swap of Marth, so I'm pretty happy about the whole thing.

NOT a fan of the roster thus far but question... Did anyone else notice a graphical boost since we last saw the game? Maybe its just me but the game looked better for some reason. Maybe camer angle and zoomed used or something.

WHAT?! It's not doubt unquestionably the most varied and best roster the series ever had. Esp with 4 characters that MADE gaming. Mario,Mega Man,Sonic and Pac-Man. Also Fire FREAKINGEMBLEM MAX man. Plus all the ones we know from before and more to go. NIntendo has grabbed an A++++++++ cast.  You're acting like this is Projext X Zone. This is just fact jack. It's the most varied it's ever been and that is great to balance a game. Something Brawl was off on. Nintendo is also finally opening up to more RPG characters in Smash.

Who would you put in then that is so much better? What characters more significant to gaming would you replace them with?

Its cool that they have mega man, and pac-man in there. Also You NEVER heard me complain I just said I not a fan. its subjective everyone has a right to their opinion. I have never played a fire emblem game so I have NO idea who these recent additions are. I am happy with little mac and mega man. I just do not have any attraction to the fire emblem characters. I still feel we are one big third party splash character away. Like i loved Snake being in BRAWL I do not think anyone saw that one coming. I think another big 3rd party character would be cool but we will see.

Well I was happy to see Captain Falcon... one of my faves. and will be one of my four mains. Samus, Mega man, little mac, and CF.

Well Kojima begged Nintendo to have snake in Melee but the game was almost finished, Get Fire Emblem Awakening. What's great about this game is unlike previous games which are brutal to newcomers to the series or even SRPGs in general is it added a novice mode and the game is super friendly to new people to the series and genre. Why the game sold over 1 million when they expected it to be the last in the series and were in doubt it would reach the 240k needed to make profit. Almost anyone can get into it. Then when you got the hang of it switch to normal.

 

thought the game was well over 5 million. I played the demo and its not for me.

How many times have people played demo's not liked the demo but when playing the actual game realize WOW THIS ROCKS. Demo's often poorly set up as they are rush jobs.
