I would like to note that am looking for power supply for the console NOT the game

The only thing you can do is import one from ebay :/. Unfortunately, european (official) adapters are only sold by each country's Nintendo. So you'll have to buy an american one and a transformer.

You sure its the ac adaptor, and not just a blown/bad fuse in the transformer you are using?
I thought of that , so I connected my Xbox to it and it worked really well.
About ebay , do you know what brands

The Wii U's ac adaptor is region locked? Strange, I'd think a Sudanese Power supply should work with an American Wii U no problem. the power supply converts the wall AC into DC with the exact Amperage and volts that the Wii u requires, and it would be far cheaper to design it so that the power supply is swapped out for each region that having region-specific connectors or voltages on the Wii U itself.

The Wii U's ac adaptor is region locked? I didn't know that...
Some countries use different plugs with different voltage.
I'm not sure PAL uses DC anymore think they use AC now.
US,China,Japan and others use this
Europe uses this

Only UK and Ireland uses this. The majority of European countries use a two pole ( two vertical pins) plug. Also, in Europe we use AC.

Ah ok my mistake. Yeah I thought it was AC now. Be insane for anyone to use DC anymore.

I found out that Wii U power supply is universal so I went and bought one for 400SDG(40USD) and now it works perfectly.
Thank you guys so much
It's not universal. Except if you bought a 3rd party one and not an official.

Exactly ; insane. A low amperage in AC won't kill you whereas in DC will. lol

that is not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to this end:Ryudo, on 27 Jul 2014 - 12:23 PM, said:

This connecter I expect is the same on ALL Wii Us no matter the country, and although the power brick itself may be different for each country, they will all output the exact same DC voltage and amps as the Wii U wants.
And I was definitely not referring to DC being in the walls. AC has been used for electrical infrastructure since the beginning because DC can't travel long distances without deteriorating quickly, but DC has always been required for electronics.

The nintendo adapter isn't universal like apple's, it just has some parts that work in 220-240.
that is not what I'm referring to. I'm referring to this end:

The output is the same, but the adapter will fry if the volts are higher than the ones required or not work properly if they're less. That's why if you buy an official Nintendo adapter from the country you live, you'll have no problem.

I have done some google'in and if you are having problems with The Wii U GamePad Charger consider these options:
- Depending on where abouts in sudan you are located you may experience power cuts and that may be the problem! Buy a power surge protecter Like this one:
It should should protect the gamepad wich is pluged into the socket
then get a new battery:
Hope I have helped
