I like the X-ray. The support right now is meh...
Netflix is great though.

I know it sounds really lame, but I'd love an oyster card top-up app for the Wii U

I don't really want loads of rubbish apps that will just clog the system and make it look just like another messy Android/iPhone.
I'd really like bbc iPlayer and all the TV catchup services we get in the UK though, as I don't have an internet enabled TV, or a PS3, or a way to connect my laptop which isn't a massive hassle
Oh, and the family pictionary thing sounds like a great idea for an eShop title!

An app that let's you display 3ds top-screen gameplay on the screen. Not 3-d obviously, but would be good for those, like my family, who like playing 1-player adventure games together.

Would it be able to stream cable tv to the gamepad? or would Nintendo have to get a deal with cable providers to do that

Onlive - I am surprised nobody has suggested it yet... It could potentially erradicate the need to upgrade the console for many many more years to come.
I don't think onlive service is that great at the moment, but times change.. and you can't say it'll be rubbish in 5 - 10 years. Just not sure if that is something Nintendo would welcome. How they could spin to help there business, I fail to see, but there could be a way.
Internet and Gaming and especially with F2P coming on to the scene, is showing there are many ways to gather money and resources. Isn't it rumoured sony are thinking of using Gaikai to do ps3 backwards compatibility for ps4? The future man.. it's crazy.
