Really not sure how to feel about this yet. I'm interested in checking out the TV series when it airs though.
Before I get this I'll get Sonic: Lost World, at least the 3DS one since I don't own a Wii U.

Lost World on 3DS is a broken mess Wii U version is good tho.

Powered by CRYENGINE...? No freakin' way! Big Red Button Entertainment have done a great job in developing Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric. Buy or rent, I don't care. I REALLY want to play this game!

If the game is really like this trailer, I would buy it so hard. Sadly the gameplay that we've seen seems sub-par. I don't have a issue with most of it, but some of it is just bad.

This seems like a better Sonic Adventure game, if you ask me.
Wasn`t impressed when i saw the first gameplay but i`m starting to like it now. It`s got to be better than Lost World.

Lost World was awesome. It's the first Sonic game in 3D to play like a Genesis game in 3D.
Platforming. Branching paths. Not speed based. Instead it had obstacles and the goal is to avoid them and keep a steady momentum and build up that momentum and rewarded with speed. How Sonic should play. People got this idea and so did SEGA that sonic is speeeeeeeeeeeeeed. No. Running in a straight line jumping over occasional enemies is not Sonic.
This game seems more like a action game spinoff with speed levels in-between. I am indifferent to this game and may pick it up later cheaper.

Having played it yesterday I was quite impressed and enjoyed it. The Sonic games of late have not been they great but this one is quite fresh in its approach and worth playing in my opinion.
Really? So glad to hear someone say this, I will keep my eye on it then.
