To be clear, i don`t expect Nintendo to win over all the core crowd, but if they play their cards right for next generation, they really can regain a lot of that crowd.
It would be a miracle if they could outsell Sony and MS without all the 3rd party support.

First of all, that's not I was saying you're being ridiculous about.

Second, it wouldn't be a "miracle". It happened just last generation.

That market is basically gone and if there`s no novelty next gen, it won`t come back.

Then, what are you talking about?

We weren't talking about crowds, you just said it would be a miracle if Nintendo could outsell Microsoft and Sony without 3RD party support. Regardless of what crowd they used, Nintendo did it last gen. No miracle needed.

Miiverse is Nintendo`s only trumpt card.

Completely ridiculous.

I was talking about the MS and Sony crowd and how Nintendo could regain some or a lot of the crowd back if they play their cards right.

Wasn`t thinking of new crowds - which i don`t think Nintendo can win over without some unseen feature, like the Wii remote was.

In terms of features, TVii comes to mind (which only works in the US anyway) but i don`t see anything else to be honest.

I don`t disagree with you. On the contrary!

I think you misunderstood me. I was only speaking about the HW and features and how XB1 was a better machine, not that XB1 was a better purchase in general. That`s why i mentioned Miiverse.

Personally, XB1 only interests me because of Halo. If not, both XB1 and PS4 were meaningless to me. There´s nothing there that i want.

Oh ok, I think I see what you're saying now. I think you're right they can win a lot of people "back" but I don't think they need to do anything different than what they're doing now (except maybe advertise more). I think E3 proved there a re a lot of people who are on the other side ho should own Wii U's but don't. But it also proved that these people need to change their minds themselves, and come to the realization gaming is just about fun, and that how you make that fun isn't important, themselves. The only way Nintendo can make realize this is, like I said, by doing what they're doing now.Making these huge announcements of great looking games that are fun as heck. Making people n the other side realize. "Wow, there a re 15 games on the Wii U that look like -and I 'm told are- ridiculous amounts of fun. There are 5 on the system I currently own. And those could always end up being a disappointment. Maybe I'm being stupid here."

E3 might have changed a lot of minds, indeed, but there are still things that Nintendo can do. Some things this generation and others for next generation.

Expanding their games portfolio is something they are already doing and i hope they continue. Splatoon, B2, Devil`s Third are good steps in the right direction.
