I wonder if its just a higher clocked cpu... That Xenoblade port seems awfully faithful, even down to lod changes....

Wouldn't be surprised to see more then just high clocked cpu.. i suspect a bump in RAM too but Nintendo wouldn't need to even bother noting this in direct.

A ram increase wouldnt surprise me.

But, Xenoblade is running EXACTLY like it did on wii. I wonder if we are seeing some new (Lol, 'new') portable 750 cpu, alongside a smaller node cheaper arm11 for 3ds back compatability... The beginning of the shared development platform?

I think so. Regarding your shared dev comment, YES. I thought that as soon as I saw the new 3DS.

 

This isn't exactly like the DSI. The speeds for eshop, menus have been increased very much. MiiVerse will be much more fun to access now. Amiibo directly using NFC built into the 3DS.. better controls and design, better battery... this new 3DS is here to stay.

 

I suspect this 3DS will ride along with the Wii U until Nintendo is ready for it's next hardware announcement.

I'm fine with the 3DS XL I got 2 year ago. Even has a Earthbound Ness robot I like on it. Xenoblade on 3DS is cool not exactly a game for a Handheld but more XB the better. May just get the game just to have it one more time.

Worst thing is, people are flipping their rainbow for no good reason about the new 3ds reveal.

 

People want another analog stick after constant moaning?  Nintendo gives you one.

The right stick seems like it will function similar to that of the IBM thinkpad pointer/mouse. Should be accurate.

Would be really surprising if it were. Xenoblade sold WWWAAAAAYYYYY More in NA than in Japan. Europe as well.

Finally a reason for me to buy a 3DS!! YESSSS! I soo wanted to play Xenoblade as well. I wonder if this'll come out before or after X on the Wii U?

I CAN'T EVEN horsing EXPRESS MY PURE JOY AT HEARING THIS rainbow.

I've seen people complaining about the second stick being an awful design and being too small.

 

I expect the reason for that is that most games won't need it, so they wanted it to kind of disappear when not in use.
