Plot: The game is set in Hyrule, and stars Link as a Hylian soldier-in-training.^[11] Long ago, Ganondorf was defeated and his soul splintered into four fragments that were sealed in moments of Hyrule's time. But Ganondorf plots his resurrection through Cia, a sorceress who protects the balance of the Triforce while maintaining neutrality. With her amorous feelings for Link and jealousy toward Zelda providing Ganondorf a means to purge her inner light, Cia becomes consumed in her desires as she uses her subordinates Wizzro and Volga to wage war against Princess Zelda and Hyrule by opening the Gate of Souls, portals to different time-space realities of Hyrule, to amass an army of Bokoblins and other monsters.

This prompts Link, aided by Zelda's protector Impa and the mysterious Sheik, to restore balance to the land with the aid of Hylian heroes from different moments in time and space, such as Darunia and Ruto from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Midna and Agitha from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Fi from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. The group of heroes are also aided by Lana, a white sorceress who claims she is from the same clan as Cia. Although they succeed in sealing the gates, matters worsen when Ganondorf succeeds in his resurrection and then summons Ghirahim and Zant from across time and space to lead a campaign so he can obtain the entire Triforce.

If you play on Hard the AI is turned on. AI is turned off on Easy. On Normal it's not much harder. Hard and Hero mode can get intense.

hero... feels impossible unless you have level 3 weapons
working on it, but I wont have much time to get them this week because its the last week before the grading period is over
and then smash comes out so i wont be palying it over the weekend... maybe

I'm really enjoying it atm, I was worried I'd be burnt out from the start since I've played so much of Pirate Warriors 1 and 2 which are very similar to Hyrule Warriors but the gameplay and characters feel fresh enough to keep me interested.

Almost finished the story mode and I'll be focusing on adventure mode after that.

I put the game on Hard from the start, the AI after the 1st level is much better, couple of times i had to flee and go run for hearts. Didn't even know there was an intense mode (shutters). loving every minute of this game though, glad i made the purchase.

Greetings to everyone in our The Legend of Zelda community! I'm Eiji Aonuma, the supervisor for Hyrule Warriors, and I'm happy to talk to you all again.

The second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, the Twilight Princess Pack, will be released soon, so today I would like to give you a sneak peek at what's inside.

The highlight of the first DLC pack, the Master Quest Pack, was being able to team Link up with Epona. This time around, there will be a new playable character - someone from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess... Who do you think it is?

Here's a hint: this character only appeared in this form at the very end of Twilight Princess.

In that game, Midna is cursed and cast out from the Twilight Realm, but now you will be able to unleash her true form as Twili Midna!

When I was developing Twilight Princess, I thought it was such a waste to let a beautiful princess like her only appear in the ending. Now Koei Tecmo Games has made my wish to see more of her come true.

Twili Midna's weapon is the Mirror of Twilight, which appeared in Twilight Princess. This mirror was destroyed at the end of that game, but it's pretty amazing in Hyrule Warriors. In fact, I can't describe in words what's so amazing about it, so I hope you'll download this DLC pack and see for yourself.

In addition to Twili Midna, the Twilight Princess Pack includes new weapons, costumes and an adventure map, so if you played through the original game, they should contribute to the fun you'll have in Hyrule Warriors. (For one of the costumes, you can dress Link up as a certain familiar character from the Zelda series. It may make you say ""Wow!"" so I hope you'll look forward to it.)

The second DLC pack for Hyrule Warriors, the Twilight Princess Pack, will be released globally on November 27!

Majora's Mask DLC looks great.

 

 

 

This game is quite amazing. So MUCH stuff, even without DLC.
