I don't want to say anything concrete yet, but I've been thinking about starting a podcast for Wii 2 Blog. Personally, I'm not the greatest fan in the world of them, as I feel it's faster to just read news than watch it, but I know that many people prefer to have their news in audio or video form, so I'd gladly get one going if you guys think it would be a valuable addition to the content we already provide.
If I start such a podcast, it may or may not be produced by me. Again, this idea hasn't even made it to the planning stage yet, and I may find someone other than myself to run a potential podcast due to my personal time constraints, skill, or other factors.
So, would you like to see a Wii 2 Blog podcast, and in what form (audio or video)? Please vote in the poll and leave your thoughts on this thread.

If you can get it in Japanese, definitely! (For my studies, of course )
Of course, I doubt you can... So I can only say that I would prefer to have the option. Sometimes listening/watching news gets you more excited. Wouldn't you prefer to watch the E3 presentations rather than read about them after?
...Speaking of which, does anyone know any Japanese Cafe podcasts? And I mean the Nintendo Cafe, not... those cafe's.

I'd rather have video podcasts than audio. I think it would be nice to have a weekly podcast to some up the week's news.

The more content the better, I think (as long as it's of a high standard of course). I like AMAC's idea of a Podcast summing up the fortnightly/week's news. The good thing about video is then you could also have it on youtube and get more viewers that way as well.

Yeah, I think it would be a great idea for you guys to do a podcast. I really like listening to this Nintendo podcast, I think its either Gamespot UK or IGN UK, can't remember which. What I like is they don't just tell the news but give us their opinions on it and answer/discuss questions that people send in. I've got a few ideas on how it could go.
- Fortnightly (weekly would be too demanding) podcast in two parts, first part telling and discussing the weeks' news, next part answering and discussing questions that readers send in.
-It would be good if you could get two people discussing the news together, it would be a bit boring with one but if you can only get one then I guess it would suffice.
-Make it downloadable if possible.
-Do special themed podcasts, for example a pre-e3 podcast, post e3-podcast, Christmas and so on
All the major gaming websites have podcasts so I think you should and it would help freshen up the site because everyone likes new stuff

I broke the tie, since I didn't want this poll to be left hanging. I would definitely like having a Wii 2 Blog podcast! I would prefer audio, but video podcasts wouldn't be bad, either. I would definitely listen if you did a podcast, and if you did it in a video form, I could just download it as an MP4 to listen to if I put them on my 3DS (yes, my 3DS is my music player).

I think a podcast would be amazing for later stages when we learn more about the wii u. it defenitely seems to have worked for David on nintendo 3ds blog and it's an easy way to learn about the console
