Main changes for version 9.0.0-20U

Update released: October 6th, 2014

Users can now use themes to customize the design and sounds of the HOME Menu

Five themes are pre-installed and additional themes can be purchased from the Theme Shop

Themes can be changed by using settings located within the HOME Menu settings

A feature has been added that allows users to capture screenshots of their HOME Menu

The Nintendo eShop Title Information page has been updated to provide easier access to any available videos, demos, user reviews, and other information

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

5 free themes are solid colors. Patterns and character ones are 1.99

You can take a pic of home screen by pressing and holding y, then selecting up or down on control pad for screen you want to capture.

Some more generic patterns are .99

It looks better too, all bold and stuff, and the animations are faster

I've noticed opening and closing folders, moving apps around does seem snappy

If you're too far to the right and press home, it takes you back to the very left! I literally wanted this to happen since I got it lol.

I wanted a black theme I finally got one. Now for Wii U...

They need to get rid of that "press the button to turn it off" menu... so useless

 

Or at least move the tile to the top...

I'm rocking the blue menu. Goes with my blue XL, even though it's covered by an NSMBU skin. The new menu is sooooo nice. Will probably get the Hanafuda and/or Zelda theme. I've already seen something mahjong in the Hanafuda theme and it's gorgeous.

Agreed I love that on Vita and PS3 using my own wallpapers and pictures.

Other times use a games theme with the UI but replace the background.
