OP says he loves to collect and I am sure he plays too. I do both. My wife and nephews also game.

If you have the money buy all these games and play them you must really be living large. I had no idea male prostitution was this profitable.

In my opinion, you should only buy a game if you are planning on playing it multiple times, and not a game that you might not like at all...

Everyone has a hobby. I have multiple hobbies. This is one of them. I'm not rich and I don't live large. I simply have a certain amount of money set aside each paycheck that fits in my budget. Collections may look huge and expensive and some may be. But for me, the wii u was not an expensive collection, it just took a lot of time. I also have a world wide n64 console collection and gamecube console collection. And I'm working on complete libraries for those too. It's going to take years. And I guarantee I will not play every console, I just like to have it. It's a piece of history. As for wii u, I will try each game at least once. I found so many great fun games that I would never have given a chance if I wasn't a collector. Advance wars on gba is a good example. Never would have tried it. It's one of the best games I've ever played.

There are more wii u games out now that I need but can't fit them into my budget until I get paid again. If I was rich I'd already have ordered them.

I collect but never need to have every game for something. I don't see the point. Every game I have which is a lot (check my sig) I love it/like it. Every game I own is something I play and will play again. I don't care what rare stuff I have. I'm not selling. I don't keep anything in shrink wrap as I plan to use it. I don't believe in the investment arguement either as look at people who collected beanie babies and now they are worthless but back then people went crazy for the, Skylanders is the same thing. In the future they will be worthless.

 

I collect for what I love not just to have it all.
