So you can probably tell I missed he Direct with my recent threads but at least it will liven up this forum (my god it needs it).

It almost felt like I was watching something from Mario Galaxy.  The single player looks like it could be some combination of platforming and shooting.  That combined with the multiplayer seems like it could be a very entertaining game.

I thought it was just me thinking that, but it does look like Mario Galaxy levels with Splatoon gameplay.

I thought this was gonna be an exclusive online multiplayer, and that single player campaign basically made this game 10/10. Wii buy twice

That single player story mode actually looks really great, glad to see we're getting a nice single player mode alongside what looks to be a fantastic multiplayer mode!

Single-player definitely reminds me of SMG. Rather unique 3D platforming. I can see myself easily putting a hundred hours into this by the end of the year.

Guess i wasn't the only one getting a Mario vibe from the trailer.

Only Nintendo to make a unique TPS that involves platforming.

 

Really liked what i saw.
That 2D bit was pretty surprising. Maybe it will Splatoon's Captain Toad moment or just some part of the game. Still, very interesting!

 

 

Overall, i liked it and hope that soon enough Nintendo will show even more of the single player.
