Yeah, I am actually thinking that as well.Am I the only one who thinks this is totally bogus?

As for the other two, SONY has the higher chance of going seeing as they have lost loads of cash from the PS3.
So in terms of finance, they are gone.
But, like Aussie (spelt your name like an Australian, using 's') Wingman said, I do believe this is a bunch of hogwash and I doubt any of the 3 will leave next generation.

Many would consider Kinect to be the biggest innovation this generation...
and many more would strongly disagree. as nintendo have revealed (and im not at all surprised), they already experimented with that technology but discovered that it is not suitable for video games. i agree totally, a controller less game is a very limited game.

Plus if Microsoft leaves(console making, and not gaming in general) then we may get Samus and Master Chief at the Olympic games!

Samus could already be in the Olympic games because she is a Nintendo character.IDC which one of them leaves, as long as its one of them.I like some of their franchises and would love to play them on a Nintendo console.

TTL never said Samus was a Microsoft character, I believe he thinks Samus is a more suitable person to go against Master Chief.

A Metroid and Halo Crossover would work fine.

I don't believe it's just speculation. Competition drives innovation but only if they actually try so yes the more the better, the rumor is from a cloud gaming service...I don't trust it at all.
Agreed. The only reason why companies would want to innovate is so they can outshine their competition.
If competion never existed in any market it would be very slow moving I assure you.

Oh sorry then. It sounded like you were saying Samus was part of MS.The olympic idea was a joke. And yes, Samus is Nintendo. I meant for them to do a crossover series. Like when SEGA left, we got M&S@TOG.
