It seems that Capcom got some funds to make some remasters. Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 4 are hitting us in 2015, here's the promo:

Bob May Cry is an AWFUL game. Bland boring characters that's trying to be extreme. Plot thin as ice for a game actually trying to give a plot this time. Enemy design was lousy.

The combat was made for people who like to push buttons like a hyper monkey. Seriously they made the combat terrible and dumbed down.

 

DMC4 is a good game. Best combat in the series however the final fight with the giant statue well is almost the same as the one in Bayonetta and that was one of the many times Kamiya was giving the double bird to Capcom. Capcom hasn't had enough raping the DMC corpse.

If they're going to re-release 4, might as well go all the way and release a collection of all the games.

You know, I'd dig a DMC4 re-release where they actually gave Dante his own missions instead of having to repeat the exact same missions in reverse. And if they got rid of the freaking board game.

 

Of course, Capcom won't do that, so I'm not going to pay attention to this at all.

Oh boy, we're getting best Dante and DMC 4 remastered. Maybe capcom will start a continuity split, with Best Dante and Nero having their own games.

You're not. It's just that the few DmC diehards that're still angry the series got a reboot are just a very, very vocal minority.

It's just a bad game. Yeah such a minority sales didn't match DMC4. Oh and Capcom aimed for it to sell less so there was no point in rebooting it. That's the point of a reboot to gain more interest to a series losing interest but the last game was THE best selling. DMC4 is the best selling in all the series including the reboot. Capcom and Ninja Theory directly insulted the fan base. Not saying with the game bust literally calling the fans out and insulting them. Then NT insults gay people with Dante with the broke back mountain picture.

 

The characters have no development in the game. Zero nadda none. Dante or I call him Bob had nothing witty to say just F bombs. Real Dante was witty and silly but fun. Why do we need to see pointless old people demon sex. Other ways to tell the player she is pregnant. The Fox new propaganda and poor attempt at stealing the plot form They Live backfired. Surprised Bob didn't get into a fight with Virgil that lasted 10 minutes of putting on glasses. Bob doesn't care about anything then the last 30 seconds he all the sudden gives a crap? Enemy designs were poor and flat ugly. A cliche giant man fighting upper half on a building. That was dull. Music makes ones ears bleed. Then again DMC games never had great music either but this was so much worse. Like you see Dante in DMC series grow from being a cocky slayer to a parental cocky slayer but take on more responsibility. Similar to Bayonetta.

 

Oh hey how about that awesome combat. The one I can get an SSS by practically mashing the buttons. Go play a real DMC game and it feels so good just to get an S as the depth and challenge makes you work for it. Devil Trigger was a desperate attempt at pandering.

 

Bayonetta games have left even the best real DMC game sin the dust anyhow in gameplay. Personal preference on Dante or Bayonetta.

 

Yeah such a minority when you insult an alienate the entire fanbase and then have the reboot sell less than the previous game then cut sales projections in half.  Pretty sure the game didn't even break even but lost money. Yet another reason Capcom has about 200 mill left for a company with assets in the billions.

 

dMc felt ok at first but the more you play the more you realize this is total dog dookie. Capcom has a way last few years insulting it's fanbase and ruining series like the trolling of Mega Man. They almost ruined Strider.  Capcoms issue is management.

 

Ninja Theory are not very good developers and sadly this was their best effort.

Err, I actually want this game. Once I get a PS4 I'm definitely getting it because it interested me for a while.

DMC is a fine game, people are just pissy because it isn't the same as DMC1-4 (2 of which are pretty bad to begin with)

Yes. Kamiya created both series.

 

Try DMC 1,3,4. Tho Kamiya despises 4 it actually had the best combat in the  series. I will say tho the combat is not even a fraction as good as Bayonetta. Bayonetta 1 final boss fight is Kamiya telling DMC4 final boss to shove it. It's practically the same idea. His games are full of middle fingers to Cacpom for when he worked there and did Resident Evil 2,Okami and Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe and such.

 

DMC has an HD collection on PS3/360 and is cheap. DMC4 is cheap. Bayonetta just blows DMC series out of the water in gameplay.
