There wont be voice chat with players you are matched with?
So... that means its the nintendo standard of vc with freinds. Otherwise it would have just been 'no voice chat'.
'There wont be bots to fill in online matches'. What about offline? What about sp with bots like kid icarus did? Why didnt they simply so 'no bots'?

I'm sorry but no online communications in a game like this is ****ing stupid. Look I get it, there are annoying people online, but there's no reason to exclude voice chat when you can just chat with your friends only.
EDIT: Actually, VC with friends hasn't been disconfirmed.
My bad, lol.

I was going to buy it for the single player campaign anyway. But now that you mention it, no CPU's does suck. Imagine Smash Bros without CPU's and you can only play crappy online.

I hope when they do a direct for this game (I expect a full direct for it), that it's similar to the SMASH one... super exciting, hype and every detail laid out.

I get the feeling it wont matter. The games already been falsely labeled.
This will be the game known as 'That nintendo game with no voice chat or local bots' Loooooooooooooonnnnggg after its been disproven.

Kind of like how the wii u is labeled as the system without enough power to compete yet mario kart 8 and Smash 4 and xenoblade x all look par if not better than almost all top PS4/XB1 games. Plus they run at 1080 60fps, something that even naughty dog isn't able to do with U4(though that game does look leagues ahead of any console game in terms of realism). Though i now own an X1 and am happy with the purchase I really don't see any major difference in quality of graphics over wii u. But yes, once a game or system has been labeled it is very hard to loose that label.

I was once known here as KillerMario, but since I really like Banjo-Kazooie, I changed my display name to show them my respect

smash is 1080p 60 fps, Zelda WW is 1080p 30 fps, Mario Kart is 720p 60fps, and Xenoblade is proabably going to be 720p 3o fps.
Interestingly enough, thats a strange little pro wii u label of misinformation gamz girrnalisz spread that has also stuck. Particuarly hilarious to see the sony/xbox fanboy meltdowns over the fact they thought all these wii u games were 1080p, as if resolution itself was the only aspect to graphical fidelity. Theyve been brainwashed well....
Really just goes to show just how much damage gamz girnoliz who dont get their crap straight can cause, and just how far and long the misinformation they spread can go.

Wow, that is interesting.. But still these games are all fantastic and That is what matters, the days of graphics actually enhancing gameplay were ended by the HD generation, and now I look to interesting and new gameplay as well as just the overall fun I can have playing a game. It is why i will replay Banjo Kazooie and Tooie every single year no matter how old and outdated the graphics get!

More tidbits,
Update: Even more information has been added from the scans, which has been posted below:
- The Inkling city (where the plaza is) is known as ‘Highcolor/Haikara City’ in Japanese.
- The concept of two teams of four shooting ink in a turf battle has been there since the original prototype, even though the characters where tofu-like blocks at the time.
- They experimented with other team sizes, but found with more than four players felt like they had little effect on battles, and with less than four that they had too much responsibility.
- Killing/attacking opponents online to prevent them from painting ink is just one strategy to win. You get no points or advantage directly from doing so.
- Hero mode uses basically the same controls as online matches, so anyone with difficulty in the can use the hero mode to practice.
- Ideally, you’ll be matched with players of a similar rank to you (based off of experience points earned in matches). If not enough players, they’ll put you with people further away from your rank.
- While online is focused on just painting the ground, hero mode focuses on using the ink to move forward.
- Amano says he wants you to be able to look at the map on the GamePad and see where needs to be worked on for your team.
- No way to directly communicate with people you’ve been randomly matched with. They will appear post-match in your Plaza, where you can check out their gear, weapons, and comment.
- They picked squids because they were the best at representing the gameplay present in the prototype.
- Music for stages is random. Possible that I’m misunderstanding, but each player will have a different song while playing.
- Music is designed to be the sort that would be popular with the young Inklings involved with the turf battles.
- Rather than making some huge number of stages, they want to create stages that feel different when you use different weapon combinations.
- You don’t earn money for gear in single player for balance reasons. Someone could grind money in hero mode and have their first online match with high level gear.
- In the final stages of development now.
- Aiming for, more or less, a simultaneous worldwide release.
- They plan on supporting the title post-release.

This game looks amazing and they need it out like yesterday.
Perhaps they'll patch in cpu opponents later.
Otherwise it's titanfall with squids. But still a lot of fun.
The only downside without bots is longevity. If you want to play it in a year or two...**crickets**
Hopefully they address that by adding some antogists controlled by the system.

I doubt it this just seems like nintendo take the game as it is.

The way they're really going to great lengths to impress their customers lately with dlc and fan service, you never know.

I wonder how many people will not realize there is a single player, or how long it will take.
