One of the unique things about LEGO is how well branded sets appeal to consumers. The company has taken this idea to the public in the past few years, opening the LEGO Ideas website for fans to imagine all sorts of unique LEGO sets that could be created. It’s worked to bring some absolutely fantastic sets to the public, including the Minecraft LEGO set that became popular a few years ago.

Now, a LEGO set based on The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker is up for consideration. The set features The King of Red Lions with several interchangeable parts, as well as an island where Link can perform various activities. Here’s a short list of some of the features of the set:

Ok thanks, i figured so. This may be something they change their mind on soon enough. Would be a cool licensing deal.

Would fit into their want to have more people try their IPs, get a kid liking the little green lego hero, pick up WWHD/Zelda U on Wii U.

I think Nintendo has a deal with K'NEX, which is why they won't do a deal with LEGO.

Yep. We sell KNEX Mario tracks and RC carts at London Drugs.

Looks really good. But I bet if they're gonna do Nintendo LEGO, they'd do it to coincide with upcoming releases.
