WUF what are the interests levels here of Splatoon? I look at this game and don't know what to think. It's pretty and looks like it can be awesome but not sure if I want to dive in, pre-ordering, amiibos etc. Shooters are meh to me but this looks like it could be different.

 

Who's solid on getting this... and is a WUF Squid- I mean Squad something that might happen?

THIS GUY! but seriously i know the feeling. I felt the same way when the game was first announced. Not going to lie part of me was like man Nintendo couldnt just give retro a sci-fi or military shooter and kind of bring a more realistic setting to one of their games. It took me a while but now I get it! This game is what seperates Nintendo from the others and show how they are the best at innovation, gameplay, and uniqueness. go and watch some videos. Once it clicks you will get... but seriously this is day 1 for me and look like it will be one of the most fun and compeitive games released in a LONG time.

This is probably gonna be GOTY for me since Zelda's been delayed, if Nintendo doesn't announce any more amazing games for this year at E3. It just looks so goooooood...

Definitely a day 1 purchase for me and would love to have a WUF Squad I'm not great at shooters but this looks fun and I'm also really excited about the single player mode bc I love platformers

New IP, gonna dig right in. Competitive online multiplayer and a great single player experience seems to be in order. Lots of customization available too

Ever since the introduction of "Splat zone", I've been more into it now than ever. Turf war is... ok, you shoot the paint on the floor till it's filled, but now we have a game mode which requires teamwork, tactic and strategy and I believe I'll be having a ton more fun in it than I would with just turf war. As well as the mobility shown, how fast paced it can be, I'm pretty confident it'll be a really fun game.

 

But I can see what you mean, it can just be seen as a game where you just shoot things and people with paint. But I'm pretty hype for it, pre-orderd it already and now... we play the waiting game.

Neither am I, heck usually to almost always dislike them. But Splatoon looks pretty fun. I'm excited, kinda weird that it is at $60, I feel like it needs more than what we know about to really make it that price, but whichever, still will probably get it.

I'm beyond excited! I have it pre ordered and I plan on getting the amiibo three pack. It just looks so colorful and fun and I love the character customization and the the hub world.

I'm definitely getting it. Although I'm skeptical it will remain enjoyable for that long a period. I imagine it'll be the kinda game I play for maybe a week and then only bust out when friends are round. I hope it's successful and reviews well though cos it's a good opportunity for them to start a new series.

I don't know if trusting reviews will be a good idea, considering the mold of what shooters "should be" today, i can see many places giving it a bad review.
but you can trust the good reviews :-)
