I am highly against this idea.
Why?
Watch a video of a 3D DS game being played on something larger then DS's resolution. I'm warning you, it ain't pretty. Same goes with 3DS. The reason why the GBA-GC Player worked was GBA a sprite based system. DS and 3DS are not. I love both systems, but the reason why this hasn't been made is because the magnification of (3)DS games onto a TV screen looks awful

Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

This still wouldn't work. Why? the 3DS's resolution of (Don't Quote me) 480x240p would look terrible on even a 480p TV. Try blowing that up to 720p,1080p, or even stuff higher then that. It's not prettyHey I would actually like this idea! That is if they deiced to make the 3DS a controller. I know it wont work out well for the DS but the 3DS sounds pretty cool.

Isn't that the same excuse nintendo made with the gameboy player though? Then third party devices started developing it, and nintendo saw that It did work.
most games were not made specifically for the gameboy player only game that comes to mind is four swords
and like most have stated the graphics of the 3ds would be so far streched it would be horrible to play on a tv not to mention the whole point of the 3ds is the 3D

He doesn't mean people were developing games for the GBP, but rather other companies were making GBP-esque devices, ex. Datel's Advance Game Port.most games were not made specifically for the gameboy player only game that comes to mind is four swords
and like most have stated the graphics of the 3ds would be so far streched it would be horrible to play on a tv not to mention the whole point of the 3ds is the 3D
Then you would not have 3D Graphics for 3DS games, the pop out kind, I support the DS idea though.
The Wii U can output 3D over HDMI.

i still see it as a pretty pointless add on
Its not that pointless, it helps capture direct feed footage, for reviewers and people who do walkthroughs.

its uneccessary there are plenty of reviews that i have seen that have direct feed quality already and a simple search on youtube could bring those up and even then why would ninteno market an add on to such a low amount of consumers theres probably less than 10,000 people in the world who review 3ds games its not profitable and i simply dont see it happening

Simple solution:Its not that pointless, it helps capture direct feed footage, for reviewers and people who do walkthroughs.
Reviewers already have this, and People who do walkthroughs are most likely destroying a 3DS to change it's outputs from the screen an external source.

Yes but that's because they're professionals that were offered by Nintendo to buy dedicated game capture units that are stand-alone systems, and not available to the public.

im not talking about professionals like ign or gamespot im talking about actual regular reviewers who have managed to make great quality videos without the need of an add on
