Just thought Id remind you guys that on thursday Nintendo will hold a direct conference.It will mostly be about the 3ds and some upcoming games and updates but I do think they might release a bit more info on Wii U considering that reggie(btw most badass guy ever) said at Ces that they will release imformation before e3 so it looks like a perfect time.
I also think they might introduce us to the recently hyped Nintendo Network that everyone is on about

Anyways what do you think will be talked about in the conference...

Is this the same kind of conference we had late in December? Feels a bit too soon, but okay..

I'm expecting more info and release dates on a few more upcoming 3DS games, maybe a new announcement here or there. If we're lucky then Nintendo Network may be announced, it would be the perfect time for it. But I'm not really expecting much at all about the Wii U, other than maybe a few NN features on it if they end up talking about that.

Well all they really showed off at e3 was the controller and this would be a good place to talk about the console itself.Some tech specks,features,and the overall layout of the main hub..I hope they stick with the wii channels as it was really simple to navigate

I'm hoping the conference is more about the Wii U then the 3DS (Wii U needs news too)

My Predictions:

- They will talk about 3DS sales at the end of the year and how they picked up like crazy
- Success of Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3DS
- Talk about new 3DS demoes and future demoes
- May talk about Wii releases like Mario Party 9, etc to show investors that the Wii is not going to be abandoned
- Talk about how the Wii U is going to launch next fiscal year (starts April 1st, although already confirmed for a June-November release)
- Introduce the new Nintendo Network logo and rebranding and what the future holds in store for NN
-No major Wii U news to announce

Is there a link to where you got this info from? I haven't heard anything about a conference.

Edit: Searched online and found one site that mentioned a conference, otherwise nothing about it. Not sure if you got the info from there, but since no other site I found mentions it I'm guessing they're wrong.

I saw them say that it will be released before the end of 2012 but i couldnt find any mention of the target release to be in winter holiday 2012
