The demo looks great, I can't wait to see the games that are developed for this system!

I think I've got one. The Last Guardian, developed by Team ICO for the PlayStation 3.I was actually really surprised the first time I saw the Japanese Garden demo because I've never seen a Xbox 360 or PS3 game that looks anywhere near as good as it. If anyone can find a 360 or PS3 game that looks comparable please tell us what it's called and give us a link to a gameplay vid of the aforementioned game.
Here is its trailer from E3 2009. Sadly, the game seems to have disappeared from the radar - no one knows what has happened to it. But I think this is the game that pushes the RSX all the way to the edges of its limits. In any case, the trailer you see below was running in real time on a PS3 when they showed it.

My guess is that it got too powerful, and they needed to port it to something stronger. That, or they just didn't have enough of a game.I think I've got one. The Last Guardian, developed by Team ICO for the PlayStation 3.

Still, just the fact that the Wii U can do something as impressive as that so easily in an early dev kit should quell any doubts of its power

Isn't it a 1st party game? Surely they won't wait for the PS4...

No need. My computer can run Crysis 2 on those settings while barely making a sound. I've seen 1200p Crysis 2 with my own eyes. @.@PS: Watch the vid in at least 720p.

I think he means 1200p, some computers can go higher than 1080p.

The resolution of my workstation laptop's screen is 1920x1200. That's a little over 1080p, which is 1920x1080.

Apparently, there was a second graphical demo that made the bird one look "meh". I believe it involves a flyover of Tokyo that goes between a view of the entire city to a hyper-detailed street-level view. The whole thing was supposed to look photorealistic, too. What were y'all saying about some other Japanese street demo?

Sounds like the sort of thing you would want to shove in the face of an annoying PS3 fanboy.

So the Wii U can't do graphics like the one on the video?
Yes, graphics realy can get better. All of the companies are innovating nowdays: think of Kinect and PS Move (light tracking makes for very accurate motion controls). The reason I love Nintendo is for their games.
PS: Watch the vid in at least 720p.
