And the LT and RT buttons need to become triggers.

I could definitely see the design changing before launch, it certainly wouldn't be the first time a gaming company did it.
Personally I'd like to see the console itself changed more than the controller, that thing is hideous. And I really hope they don't force another white console on us, there is a reason Microsoft changed from white and the black Wii sold so well, generally speaking people prefer black consoles. Likely due to the fact that they match our black TV's....do they even have White TVs? I know I've never seen one.

Personally, I'm surprised no one's mentioned the whole new worlds of innovation in the additional screen and how it's used.

Agreed, as well as the circle pads becoming actual analog sticks.

Yeh, I really do prefer black consoles and black computers to their white counterparts. Lets hope they announce the Black Wii U soon. It would also help distinguish it from it's predecessor - the Wii.

I disagree, rob_shadows about the circle pads thing. The pads are a bit easier to reach than sticks. And besides, they have the tech for it!

Well, im guessing its just because no one has really shown us anything that quite opens up a window of debate. Yes, there was that TV switch up and yes they showed how Wii Remotes were useable but no one is going to hold the darn controller if its too uncomfortable. Im guessing the first slew of WiiU games will be Ports with shoe horned ways to use the bottom screen, just like it was when the DS was released.

The fact that you can play without the TV makes it a handheld i would prefer nintendo not to have that feature
It's not really a handheld though, as you can only play a certain distance away from the Wii U console. The HD graphics are still there, because it is being streamed from the console itself onto the 6.2" touch screen on the controller.
