If they did a city home menu then your friends should gather within a Cafe. Oh and the pictures within it could be taken from the games that you have played like a picture of link flying his loftwing

I think it'll be something similar to the 3DS, with the bottom screen being on the controller and the upper screen being on the TV.

I don't like the idea of using a town as the menu though, as it would take to long to do anything. Having to walk around for 10 seconds to open the eShop has to be a little annoying.

I'm hoping that they will give you the option of using two different interfaces: The standard one that we've been seeing since the DS, and a new one that looks like you are exploring the Universe. You can rotate the world on the touch screen, and tap stars (suns) to enter different menus, something like that. The interactive experience would be a cool draw to the whole menu navigation.

1) Put a source. I almost thought that you made that.
2) It won't be that blocky. I think it will be more like the Xbox's menu, kind of like a slide show with multiple categories.

Probably the best concept menu i have seen to date.

After staring at it for a while i realized that it looks really similar to the onlive menu.

Guys I ve made the effort to make one to...

I copied some elements I liked and formed a picture.. The idea is, the sentral U button can be a quick NAV button, or ON/OFF.

The little dinosaur, is the " AVATAR" I would love to make avatars like that!!! And look very alive, also interact with the menu!! To move, etc... Also I pick this background, to fit my little avatar!!.. I would love to see nintendo, let us change the background image!!....

The cube is the ideal slider for wii U shop, News, Settings, etc... each side of the cube, represents a list of options... in 3d.

So how u like this???

I repeat its very rooky, but my ideal looks, is like that... I ve also made the cube to look transparent in the left side (the way we look at it), to have a kind of... movement on it... and unite with the environment.

This is a next gen menu for me... very simple, very beautiful... I personally dont like alot of stuff in my menu screen, its bad for the eyes... its good to be more organized..
