And what reason would Microsoft have to leave? They're so successful now in all of their markets and they have an absolutely huge fanbase from the Xbox 360. This is just a bs fanboy rumor.

360 has been doing horribly in Japan forever. Everything else you say about Microsoft is true though.I don't get why people are saying Sony will leave, why would they be releasing the Vita if they were?

Also, maybe Sony isn't making a PS4 because Vita may be the PS4?

The Vita would not be the PS4 because it's weaker then the PS3 and it's a handheld.

1. Microsoft has lost 7 billion dollars on the Xbox 360 alone and has not made any profits AT ALL.I don't get why people are saying Sony will leave, why would they be releasing the Vita if they were?

2. Absolutely huge is an overstatement but they do have a moderately large fanbase.
3. I think the "unavoidable painful choice" is under powering the PS4 if it does relate to their gaming division.

Heck, even the PS3 is outselling the 360 in both Europe and Australia, yet the 360 has more overall sales.
The American market can't be THAT powerful......can they?

I'm still surprised on how well the Xbox 360 is doing against the Playstation 3 despite how terrible it is selling in the Asian/Pacific countries.

I wish it wasn't in America where it is selling good. Because it puts all the mean fanboys where I live. For some reason MS fanboys are meaner than all the other fanboys. Seriously. There a ton of in my school and there all like "The Wii sucks, the 360 makes better graphics" and that's all they say. They don't even know half the crap about a Wii and yet they go out and insult it because of it having lower quality graphics. I think the important part of a game isn't the graphics. There's much more to a game than that.

Just ignore them. The fact that you know your knowledge on gaming surpasses those kids at your school should be enough for you to keep high spirits.
Keep remembering that your the smart one and they are the dumb@$$es. They will learn the folly of their ways once they reach my age.
