What I thought of the Vita...

Good stuff:
Graphics The graphics are amazing, to say it quickly. I don't think you would be able to tell the difference between the PS3 and Vita if you put them on the same screen next to each other.
Games The games were fun, they have a good selection of launch titles, like Ridge Racer and *cough*kinda*cough* Virtua Tennis, if your a fan of sports games.
No lag From what I played, I experienced no lag at all with the gameplay, really smooth and all that.
Bad stuff:
Control sticks The control sticks are tiny! I don't think I'd find it very enjoyable to play for a long period of time with those tiny little nubs...
Loading time Everything takes forever to load I was waiting for about 5 minutes for ridge racer to start up, and even then I had to wait for the races to load before I could play.
All in all its a pretty good system with some minor *cough*major*cough* setbacks.
Well, still wasn't enough to make me wanna get it though

2000? You mean the like the "3DS lite" lolNice, I will probably get the Vita 2000. (There is some design stuff I don't like) And also there is no games I want.
The only games I'm interested in are Army Corps of Hell and Little King's Story 2, but I'm not gonna fork up 200-odd quid for those

Not sure that it was because it was a demo unit, but it was slow on both games I went onWow, sad to hear that the loading times are slow. Could it be that because it was a demo unit, it was slow; or maybe even the game itself?

Uncharted is decent. It may just be I don't like uncharted, but it was solid.... Until the awkwardly forced touchscreen gimmick.
Games that refuse to use Gameplay effectively to do anything are like films that refuse to use cinematography in film to do anything.

I see how it being a demo would affect anything, it would make sense, demo units are not there to make people want to buy a system.
Thanks, buddy, but those are probably abnormal loading times.

It's okay, nothing better than the 3DS. My biggest complaint would have to be that the sticks don't click. That kinda defeats any advantage a stick would have over the circle pad, and if I put the thing in my pocket, it would probably break them.
Anyhow, I can see why people are excited over the thing, but I'm still waiting for the price cut. (whenever that is.)
Oh, and Little Deveients is the worst game to demo ever. The first level I played, was practically a Face Raiders rip-off.
YES! YES!YES!YES!YES!

*Sigh* in the end we are all the same as long as we like 1 company better then the other. but seriously i see potential in the touch pad if it's used the right way.Uncharted is decent. It may just be I don't like uncharted, but it was solid.... Until the awkwardly forced touchscreen gimmick.

Hey, I'm not hating on the game, nor do I like one console manufacturer better then another. Hell, all of my top 10 are 3rd party games. I'm saying that awkward that in the middle of battle, I have to reposition the system to fight enemies. That's bull right there. As for the touchpad, I was one of the few people that saw potential in the DS, so why would this be any different.

It's just that everyday i see more & more fanboyism when they're supposedly mature & look at everything maturely. Like people here can say they say much potential & innovation with anything that involves their favorite gaming company but when it's another theres nothing that it could be used for. I'll have to go to A sony fan & ask what the touch pad could be good. usually it's vice versa cept with insults included "what is this carp even goood for??" The hardware was a lot bigger then I thought and the graphics was better than I could imagine. The analogs feel great and the touchscreen is responsive. The screen is a little bit too big for my taste. The weight was perfect and the cameras was actually good looking through the oled screen.
I think it's a better portable then the 3DS. If there is some good games coming I will pick it up.

+'s
▲ Gorgeous screen
▲ Cameras functioned well
▲ Touchscreen was easy to use
▲ Easy to hold in the hands- Nice grip
-'s
▼ Unimpressive loading times
▼ Game Lineup is lacking (in my opinion)
▼ The analog stick is a small, uncomfortable nub
▼ The system is really too big to be called a portable. It won't fit in the average pocket.
