post ideas here Mine is a Christmas commercial that shows Mariah Carey singing "All I want for Christmas is a WiiU" Or maybe just soneone who could sing. They will be holding the tablet controller and have a Santa hat and playing Christmas releases.

That could be a catchy holiday jingle if they made it the right way. Something like "All I Want for Christmas is U."

That might come of as a little casual though.

Vita has the whole 'The world is in play' slogan thing for it. I don't think they've done too badly using that approach.

I think the Wii U needs something along the lines "This is the world U live in, the world U make, the world U conquer."

Something that says "This is about U" but at the same time says "This is about Wii".

Trophy Cards are classy too! LOLZIGZAGOON

"Wii made it just for U."

Then in a video advertisement, do something like this (have the middle text retract into itself leaving just the Wii U logo.)

Wii made it just for U.

Wii ade it just fo U

Wii de it just f U

Wii e it just U

Wii it jus U

Wii t ju U

Wii t j U

Wii U

For those who are confused, instead of you she can say WiiU or something.

Then they can add to the lyrics.
A joke but: I don't want an Xbox for christmas they have nothing I would need. I wouldn't want a PS3 for Christmas under my beautiful Christmas tree I just want a WiiU for my own plenty cool games like Super Mario Zeldaaaaa!!! beautiful graphics link just looks so real (Insert Price) is such a great deal I just want a WiiU for my own cause it's made by Nintendo 3rd party support is true All I want for Christmas is a WiiUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU Baby 3xl I want for Christmas is a WiiU baby.

Epic Dude: Nintendo WiiU (Insert Price)

Rename the Wii U the Nintendo 1080, put it in the house with the guys who sell the 3DS, and showcase the brand new 1080 game! Watch the hilarity ensue.

How about, "SONY does what Nintendone"?

Someone on this forum made that epic slogan up. :D

Oh okay, but my idea still has weight to it in a general sense right?

Open with two-three 20 something guys hanging out in a room, some short, clever dialogue(something to the affect of "whats up"... "This is what's up!") leading to a 30-45 second sizzle reel featuring all the games they can reasonably fit. They should show only gameplay of their "core" games (AC3, Darksiders 2, Batman AC, etc.), split screen gameplay/interaction with their interactive games (ex: Ghost Recon Online), as well as their casual pack in game. They must end the reel with their big first party system seller. Show guys faces that look in awe.

Now you're playing with power. Wii U.<---- only words on the screen, not narrated.

Any slogan would work but the original is my favorite and fits the message Nintendo is trying to convey to gamers. I also like Get N or Get Out!

Its a generic idea, but I think it would be effective.

I'd like a commercial that isn't too long and still gives me lots of details, specs, etc. about it.
That, along with a catchy idea like what you people said, and you have a commercial!
Derp.
Oh yeah, and I wouldn't want it to seem TOO casual, you know.
