What exactly do you mean by "what's going to happen"? If you mean will the sites be closed or abandoned, then the answer is nothing. Wii U Go should continue to be updated with the latest Wii U news and the forums will hopefully continue to be the biggest and best Wii U community around.

They'll become more used and visited, due to people having trouble and people hyped about the newest games.

It will be the same type of forums. Like 3ds forums but bigger most likely. I think it will have awesome decoration when the console comes out.I mean whats the future of WiiU sites gonna be? Is it gonna be like IGN(Reviews and news) but Wii U?

That question has a pretty obvious answer don't you think?

It would be cool if NINTENDO made Wii U Forums an official APP for the Wii U.

If this site follows the path of 3DS forums eventually there will be a lot more posts and threads of lesser quality maybe.

It'll just be like any other console specific forum.
There will be an activity boost, with a lot more people. Hopefully there will be more people in the chat when it happens.
There will also be two kinds of trolls: The kind that own/have played with a Wii U and aren't really happy with what it does (in which case they aren't really trolls, just dissatisfied consumers), and the kind that hate on purpose for their own giggles.
Actually, since I'm here already, make that three kinds of troll.
The blogs will become more frequent, there will more than likely be at least 2 additional staff members, and there will be a lot more duplicate threads. I can't stress that last point enough.
They're also be an influx of people who love/hate this site. I know some people in the 3DSForums have a preference to their chat mode as opposed to here (even though ours let's private conversations without going that extra few miles).
All in all, it'll pretty much become what happens with any other forum.
And Ponkotsu will be revered as "God".

don't count on that remaining the case when all the kiddies get involved
just look at mariokartwii.com and how it devolved over the years
