First, it starts with the bread. I prefer the soft yet consistent texture of a turkish roll. Two for a club.
That sandwich needs spread. Butter, avocado, mayo and honey mustard. Yum.
Gourmet doesn't come along until you've slapped a nice rasher of bacon onto it. And you simply can't have bacon without a couple of well cooked eggs.
The salad. Tomato, Rocket lettuce, spring onion, coriander, carrot, cucmuber, pickle, pineapple, onion, black olives and jalapenos.
Spices are essential. Ground cumin, chili, freshly cracked black pepper (I see white pepper, I punch wall).
Nicely shredded chicken and sliced pork, both marinated in a delectable soy sauce mixture.
The nice melt of a vintage cheddar. Excellent. Make that double.
Expensive? No people, I call it heaven in sandwich form.

I eat very boring sandwiches... Like Mortadella between two pieces of bread and nothing else... I guess it's not much of a sandwich... I like grilled cheese too and ham and egg sandwiches on occasion, but I'm not really too fond of eggs.

I'm probably gonna have to go with Philly cheesesteak if it comes from the right place.

I usually just have bologna and cheese. But sometimes I use ham or turkey and toast the bread. But that's pretty much it, unless you count a chicken sandwich from a fast food restaurant.
