Forum poll right here!

How many of us actually use this forum's IP Chat? While MLP Forums' Chat is usually active, the one here is almost always dead. What's up with that?

So a couple of questions:

• Do you even use this forum's IP Chat?
• If you do, how often do you use it, and what do you generally talk about on there?
• If you don't, why don't you use it?
• Anything you like or dislike about IP Chat? Like, are there any ways it could improve?

I understand that this forum isn't super active like some other forums, but I think there are more than enough people around to have group chats on the thing. I usually log on to see no one on there, or one person on there. And I have no idea what a single person would be doing in there alone, so...

But yeah, I just find that interesting about this forum. Please share your thoughts!

I don't really use it. If I do, it is only like once a month and I don't really do anything when I'm there. I just kind of don't have anything to talk about. It's design seems fine, but I don't actually really care.

Hmm... that's interesting too.

Technically, we should have plenty to talk about outside of the Wii U... I generally don't participate in Chat discussions only if the discussion seems stupid (spamming memes and distasteful subjects)

If there is 2 or more people in chat, I usually join.

Yeah, I usually join when there are people in.

The only person I know who goes in there when no one is around is Turbo.

Some mornings I find it full of people, which is nice.

I don't use it all that often, as I am not much of a chatter. When I sort of feel like it, usually no one is around.

I would go on the chat every single day if I wasn't so darn busy. I love chatting with the people here! I...have trouble talking to people at MLP forums, so this is really the place for me. :3 Once my summer break starts I'll be on chat everyday. :3

Though, this is a Nintendo website, so I'm pretty sure most of the members are gamers and they tend to spend a lotta time on video games. Also consider the age group of this forum and the type of people whom are attracted to this forum. If you really think about it...it's self-explanatory why chat isn't as active as on MLP Forums.

The people who I usually see on there are Jdog, nl (he keeps getting grounded though ), GaC uhhh... Yamato... Turbo... umm... thats it I think

Really, the most active time of the chat is the weekends in morning.

1 & 2: I used to use it every day, but nowadays I don't have that sort of free time. I do tend to enter when there are enough people/a member I don't know/a member who is generally inactive, though.

3: I do use it

4: I'm fine with the layout, but it really is kind of annoying when it ignores members...
As in, it shows there are 2 people, but there are 4 people.

I've tried to join chats, but... anytime I do, topics to talk about just escape me. I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm too shy to start chatting.

Yeah, i'm not really a chat guy per say. If there's like 5 people I might go on, but if it's more or less than that I tend to stay away.
