The MLP Forums chat has been deleted, likely permanently. I try to use this chat but i'm thoroughly dispointed when there is no one there. Is it because people just leave when there is no one, and ultimately it's always empty? Or is this place just not popular enough?

It's a tiny little tab above everything that catches user attention, most users likely don't know it exists.The MLP Forums chat has been deleted, likely permanently. Chaos, difficult to moderate, random, all in all not worth the trouble.It's a tiny little tab above everything that catches user attention, most users likely don't know it exists.
Why would they erase MLPchat?
I noticed it instantly when i came on. Especially when there's a nice red number over it.

Don't forget that we're a Wii U forum first and foremost, not a Wii U chatroom. From a long-term point of view, it's better for the health and sustainability of the site to spend more time posting on the forums rather than pumping 40-character messages into the chatroom.

I agree to this too. The chat is pretty much dead. I go on there allot waiting for no one to come. Oh well I think there will be a surplus of people on the chat once E3 hits. ME CANT WAIT. Also I think it would be interesting to see what the chat limit is! :3

How many of us actually use this forum's IP Chat? While MLP Forums' Chat is usually active, the one here is almost always dead. What's up with that?
So a couple of questions:I understand that this forum isn't super active like some other forums, but I think there are more than enough people around to have group chats on the thing. I usually log on to see no one on there, or one person on there. And I have no idea what a single person would be doing in there alone, so...
- Do you even use this forum's IP Chat?
- If you do, how often do you use it, and what do you generally talk about on there?
- If you don't, why don't you use it?
- Anything you like or dislike about IP Chat? Like, are there any ways it could improve?
But yeah, I just find that interesting about this forum. Please share your thoughts!
