We all know the wii u was confirmed to be 1080p but will the wii u remote stay 480p or move up to 720p it may be hard but not impossible do you think the wii u can process the power without framerate issues?

It's possible.
I'm thinking that it won't be standard definition.
However, I have no idea if it'll use it or not.
Higher definition also means higher price.
I would appreciate a higher definition though.
Especially if you're playing the entire game on that screen.

So a simple controller would be HD and their prime handheld only 240p. Not so logic. I dont think it should get higher than 480p. It would be too expensive.

According to rumours, if the controller has higher resolution, the TV display will have resolution decreased. #Rumour

I'm always fine with a low resolution, but higher is never bad.
Their logic is correct though, a portable is likely to have a higher resolution than a controller.

The controller is and probably will stay 480p but It doesn't matter considering it has a high PPI

I don't mind if the controller is 480p, for the size of the screen is a good resolution. But you know, more higher is the number is better.

Me too I hope they make a 720p Controller because it would make watching videos,Viewing Websites,and gaming on the tablet much more enjoyable from the extra graphical fidelity. All tho i do admit Graphics aren't everythingI really hope for a 720p controller. I mean the vita has higher res than the controller and a smaller screen.

I think it would be good if it could support 720p just for watching videos, I don't know a lot about resolution apart from the bigger the better(in most cases), is there a way you could lower the res to suit the game?

who would want a resolution that high for a screen that small. from what has been stated by alot of people who have played it the resolution is fine as it is
