I feel Youtube would be great to have on the Wii U. The 360 has it so why not the Wii U?
As for facebook personally I dont give a damn lol.
Anyway, thoughts?
Will Youtube and Facebook be on Wii U? Do we even need them to be?

IF the open app rumour is TRUE then possibly yes. However I will just say two words: Web browser. I have a smart phone, I never use apps for a website most of the time I just use a web browser I never use the Facebook app.

I doubt youtube or any flash sites will work in the wii u's browser.
I can see them encouraging a youtube application though.
I think Nintendo themselves will have a Nintendo Video application, and that was the concept we saw at e3 last year.
Those videos are going to be pretty lame though.

I assume that most of the people would love to see all those social features being supported by the Wii U. As for me - I don't care. Honestly. If I buy the Wii U, that will be just for one reason - to play games.

I would love youtube, but I dont care about facebook... I dont use facebook at all, even if I have account, I never link my private and personal devices to it...

yes but I never trust any secret agency's behind my game.. Facebook = FBI... google is a seller.. sells info to all.. yahoo belongs to the jews as well (fbi is jews to), but I dont know which agency or if its known to the public.. lol..
everything that looks social and trendy, is just gathering information from the people, so I never bring them in my console, especially if my console got lots of sensors for all kind of things, attached, if they want to feed them selves, I let them find someone else, not me... I am already considering how to deactivate a couple of wii U sensors... or maintain what goes out from my home network and what is not... The only certain thing, wii U will be linked in a private home network to maintain what it sends, without permission.. The weather sensors, didnt encouraged me at all... I may even put a sticker in the controllers camera.. lol
I personally like youtube, because i have a channel, and hopefully wii U will feature a video recorder to stream our games and reviews directly to youtube, with voice support! Nintendo has lots to gain from YOUTUBE, especially if we have the feature to stream our games directly to our youtube channels!! its the best advertisement!!

I would love a YouTube app, but I don't care about Facebook.
I could see a video on the YouTube app, then if I want to show it to someone, I would put it on the controller and go out of the room to show it to the person.
