They originally had Analog sticks, But had to be removed cause of the way you hold the controller, your thumbs were always pushed way back and after 5 minutes your thumbs got sore.
I just can't see how it would work. If they want it clickable, just add damn controll sticks.

They could easily make clickable sliders. I don't see why everyone is doubting this.

They did its called a touchscreen.This would be very cool, I really think Nintendo has to implement some form of R3 and L3 bottons.

the majority of people would absolutely hate to replace the sprint and knife buttons on COD with touch screen controlls, this is just one example, i know COD isnt everything, but its an analogy

Dont need them to click. Thats only for sprinting or crouching in shooters really. Plus in shooters I dont think you should be able to crouch at all. Always pisses me off. As for sprinting just tap the touch screen.

I think one way would be the use of voice commands to do certain actions. Of course it should be an alternative, and not the main use.
