So from what we know the Wii U is suppose to be a system very easy to program for and as developers friendly as xbox360. So the architecture of the Wii U is similar to 360 but obviously more powerful. Now the majority of 3rd party games coming on Wii U will also be on 360. So wouldn't it be easy for these developers to make the Wii U version significantly more detailed because of the ease of use and familiarity of the hardware? One quote I always go back to is the THQ guy. I'm hoping this from 3rd party games.

They're not going to waste the resources for launch games imo.

yh i expect all wii u multiplats to have some form of bonus to them, apparently it only takes 5 mins to get stuff on the controller, no reason why devs wont use it. and for the pessimistic people here, remember, its not ALL about profit, game developers do what they do cos they love it

I hope third party developers add some nice features to the Wii U versions of there games, if not then they are being lazy. I believe that Metro: Last Light is being moved to a 2013 release, so THQ will have a lot of time to implement some cool features.

Some will be enhanced ports, as some will be eager to use some of the functionality of the system and using there launch games would be a great way to start having ideas on how to use them well. Some game will take a huge advantage of it, while some will use the basic functions such as inventory/HUD/Map on the controller screen. Than there will be some that won't take advantage of anything. But enhanced Wii U version of games will appear.

Yeah, you've done a great job so far, letting the Metal Heads destroy the palace.

As long as the games are awesome, I have no problem with it. I would like to see games that use the controller to its maximum potential, but I don't want to miss out on games because developers think that they have to do something special with it.

Be wary, the suck is coming.

The Wii U Controller will be great for a games like Dark Souls/Demons Solus since there is no pause in the game. The Inventory menu won't cover your character, so you will know if there is something coming towards you better. I don't want to get to into the game since it probably won't come to Wii U. If it does you guys can laugh at me for saying it won't come to Wii U.

Well, it could always be a PC port and PC games usually have more features.

The best version of multiplats will be the Wii U one until the Xbox 720 anyway.
