Dev Kit V5

- there was a delay in getting out these dev kits of around one month
- these are mass produced dev kits
- a small handful of Japanese devs may have had the V5 kits a tad earlier
- it seems that at least one game engine saw some improvement in how it ran from the V4 kit to V5
- if the dev kits are updated again, any refinements will be small
- One of the dev kit aspects (in comparison to the v4 ones) is '...original'
- the new dev kits also came with an additional bit of good news (no details behind this news)
Ideaman also said the good news is something everyone will love and the Wii U's power is "Wii U is primarily an experience, and it will be power-wise efficient and powerful enough for Nintendo and a lot of third-parties needs"

Speaking about the guy, he's suddenly getting alot of hate in the Neogaf thread, for some reason, People are starting to believe he's been spreading Bullcrap the whole time, which could be true. It worries me.- version 5 of the dev kits are near final

Im thinking more than one wiipad?
We already know 2 work at maximum currently.
Great news. (Bout time!) I wonder why these dev kits were delayed in the first place.

Probably cause Unreal Engine 4 was in the works on it...

But it doesn't to me. Nintendo and many other developers don't need much power. The other developers that do might still abandon the console when other nextgen consoles are out. I have a feeling it just.. won't keep up in the bigtime.

I think he has, he's a journalist(or so he says) and that means that he's been getting second hand info at best, that and Ubisoft have already stated that the final dev kits won't be around until June.

I'm guessing Nintendo is gearing this towards there final specsMass producing non-final dev kits? That seems odd to me.

yh it would be great to get the casuals into wii u, since the games and price will appeal more to core gamers, haptic feedback will get the casual money in too if it happens, nintendo will always be remembered as the first company to bring haptic into the mainstream, just like they did with motion

They've been wireless for months.I am in wonder about that good piece of news part, it could be something really significant or just that the Dev kit controllers are wireless now.
