I'm a bit newbie to this whole Anime/Manga thing, my friends have recommended me some such as Death Note, Naruto and Bleach. They were all good but I think I prefered Death Note .

I was wondering what ones you guys would recommend and what are your favourite ones.

I don't like the Naruto or Bleach Animes, but I'm fine with the manga.

Death Note, on the other hand, was awesome

For my suggestions, I would have to say Code Geass (Mostly because of the narm), Fate/Stay Night (One of my favorties... Even if I've actually never watched the Anime.(Only played the game it's based off)), Clannad (Only if you want to cry. Or laugh. Really, you'll end up doing both at the same time) and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni (WARNING: There is a lot of blood and Gore in this show. But it's a must watch, really, due to the awesome mystery behind it all)

And... That's all, at least for now. I know of a few others that I enjoyed/enjoy, so if you want more, just ask

I really enjoyed the DN mangas, I got every single one of them (1-12).

Ive downloaded fate/stay night vol 1, if I like it I'll get the collection , I'll check out the other two once I've had a look at that one. Thanks for your suggestions, I would love more suggestions, the more the better. I'm WAY a newbie when it comes to Anime and Manga. And I don't mind a bit of gore... I think?

I like Death Note, I've only read Volume 1 but it was good. My favourite manga (which I need to start reading again) is One Piece.
I think it would appeal to you if you enjoy heavy doses of action and comedy. I also like the character development.

Huh, One Piece sounds like something I'd love. It is, to the anime world, what NCIS is to live action.
The only anime I've ever watched is Sonic X, so... XD

Eh... Code geass was very good. I liked the movie the sky crawlers also.

I love Lucky Star as everybody knows who knows me in any shape or form... I also love Charcoal feather Federation and I HIGHLY advise people to watch it. It's not very action-y but the story is great.
