A NeoGAF member is claiming that he has information about a Wii U version of Diablo III from “someone who seems trustworthy.” The anonymous source claims that Blizzard, the company behind Diablo III, has a couple of games that are not yet publicly shared. The source is certain that at least one of the games is Diablo III for Wii U.
The source also claims that this year’s Blizzcon was cancelled so that the company can focus on the console versions of Diablo III. The game is currently on the PC and its director has shown interest in the past about whether he wants to develop a console version.

Hmm...I havent played a Diablo game since the 1st one...I am calling BS on this though. Diablo has always been ONLY a PC game. However if by some chance it does come to the Wii U, I probably will get it at some point in time lol.

I dont understand how this can be considered bs when the developers of diablo 3 said they intend to bring the game to consoles a long time ago. Yes it would be surprising if it would be released on the wii u but the fact that blizzard has already stated their plans on bringing the game to consoles in the first place makes this believable.

I'd like to point out that Diablo was also released for PSOne in 1998.
Bringing the game on Wii U would enrich the Wii U library of games incredibly.

This would be like me going to CNN and saying because Gnomishek said bringing the game out on Wii U would be good, they're about to bring out the game on the Wii U.

I can see how I can work on the Wii U with it's touchscreen and all. Hopefully Blizzard will consider putting Diablo 3 on consoles.

within the near future and for a short 2 years, i would not be suprised to see wiiu exclusives because it is a more powerful system than ps-xbox
if blizzard managed to get their way with the upped online interactions and power they found, they just might of.

Just like a lot of the rumors I've commented on so far, I doubt this. There is zero evicence to back up this person's claim, so I'm not buying it. Maybe if he had something, anything, to show us.
