I kniw thise leaked specs are old but I just saw them. So lets say it real, and these are the parts that will end up in the PS4 and lets say the latest Ubisoft leak for Wii U is true too. What does this mean? In my mind, the Wii U will not be left in the wind by the others. Sure, be less powerful but not like Wii vs PS3. So what do you think?

Well I dont think that these specs are possible because we dont even know if there will be a PS4 at all. Sony is hurting so bad they cant even think about it at the moment because right now they have to attempt to get the Vita to sell. If they start on the PS4 now it would be contradictory to what they want to do.

I highly doubt SONY will go with the 'powerhouse' route again when it cost them tons of cash.

The original PlayStation was the weakest of the (I think) generation; it sold the best. The PS2 was the weakest of the generation (excluding the Dreamcast); it also had the best sales. The Wii was the weakest of the generation; it sold the most units. I don't think Sony will go the powerhouse route again.

The post isn't about if Sony will make a powerful machine, but if these specs are real then compared to the Wii U rumored specs, which are better? How does the 68xx compare to the 7670? I don't think we can compare the processors, but I do think the IBM will be more powerful.

I think the PS4 will be weaker than the Wii U or just a tiny bit stronger.

I agree, seeing how succesful Nintendo's approach was with it and how Sony steals a lot (PS Move... nuff said)

Funny thing is that, if the rumors are true, Nintendo is more going a powerhouse route.

There'll be a PS4, but unless it really takes off, it'll be their last one, especially if the Vita keeps up the pace.

I believe he isnt aaying its confirmed, but rather he is sure there will be one. And of that, I am sure. One reason why I am kinda iffy on this rumor - why wouldnt they use the Cell Architecture they Co-developed with IBM? But if they choose AMD,.it would be better, since AMD will be designing both the CPU and GPU (appears an APU is what the rumor is referring to). Which id interesting because.a while back I heard a rumor of Microsoft using ARM to make the processor.

In this case, if they all three choose different companies for the processor ... I guess it be a true battke on ehich company will come out.on top. My vote goes with IBM!
